Yob spotted dangerously doing wheelie as he flies along 40mph Scots road on e-bike

A YOB was spotted dangerously doing a wheelie as he flew along a busy Scots road on an electric bike.

The reckless bloke was caught on the dashcam of one of the cars he raced past on Chapel Level in Kirkcaldy, Fife on Friday.

The youth brazenly rides down the road on one wheel, weaving past cars as he does so and seemingly running a red light.

The video sees the red filming car progressing up the 40mph road with a couple of white cars ahead in the distance.

As the car passes a set of traffic lights, the rider suddenly appears from the left, flying past the car at a high rate of speed, undertaking the driver as he pops a wheelie.

The youth soon races ahead at what is surely a speed breaking the limit as he approaches another set of lights that seem to be on red.

Pulling a wheelie the whole way along, the lad on the electric bike shows little concern for other road users.

He swerves in and out of the left and right lanes, narrowly avoiding traffic as he makes his way along the road at speed.

The yob even appears to fly through a red light at the end of the street, passing through the junction before the lights have fully changed to green.

He can be seen dodging around a white car in front of him as it slows, still pulling a wheelie and narrowly avoiding the other car.

Footage of the incident was shared to social media on Friday with the caption: “The Surron of Kirkcaldy.”

The footage has since gained over 430 likes and more than 180 comments from locals shocked at the young lad’s brazen actions.

One user said: “[He was] Down Kirkcaldy high street yesterday, flew past at Sports Direct.”

Another added: “Look out for fools on the road. If he is hit be that person fault (sic). Please be careful, do not put drivers at risk.”

A third replied: “Seen him going up St Clair Street this morning, weaving in and out of cars, boy was lucky not to get knocked off.”

Another wrote: “Actually navigates better than some of the old coffin dodgers on Fife’s roads.”
