Scots commuter claims road rage incident escalated to masked motorist goading him with Stanley knife, demands he pulls over

A SCOTS commuter has claimed that he was threatened with a blade by a masked motorist after an argument between the two escalated.

The bloke – who remains anonymous – was heading home from work on the M8 motorway on Friday when he encountered the thug in the van.

The Scots dad claims that the pair got into an argument across the lanes of the motorway, which resulted in the aggressor lobbing an object at his van.

This then further escalated when the thug donned a balaclava and supposedly began threatening him with a Stanley knife.

The thug waved a stanley blade at the father.

The workman managed to snap a photo of the masked thug, as well as the van that he drove.

The bloke can be seen sitting in the passenger seat of a white work van while another man drives the vehicle.

He appears to be mid-sentence and wears a black balaclava and green gloves as he glares at the driver adjacent to him.

The commuter alleges the thug waved the blade around in clear view and began demanding that he pull over.

The commuter claims the thug then crashed into his van before speeding off down the road, resulting in a police call to report the threatening behaviour.

The man shared the snaps of the masked thug to social media on Friday with the caption: “Driving home from work get into an argument on the M8, boy throws something at the van.

“When I pass, he’s sat like this with a Stanley blade in hand telling me to pull over.”

The post has since received over 10,000 likes and more than 260 comments from social media users who were quick to mock the thug.

One user joked: “Ring the cops they’ll probably charge you for using a phone whilst operating a moving vehicle.”

Another said: “Personally I’d keep driving, not condoning it, but generally we only get two days off a week. I’d rather spend them at home than at the hospital bud.”

A third commented: “In such a situation, would you be covered if you rammed them, an ‘in fear of my life’ type situation?”

And a fourth added: “God how can you remain upbeat when he had a dangerous weapon in his hand? He needs locking up.”
