John Lewis launch winter fashions with live models

By Amanda MacMillan

JOHN Lewis workers swapped their uniforms for high fashion yesterday (Tue) as they replaced mannequins in the shop window of the store in Edinburgh to promote a £2.6 million refurbishment.

Claire Matthews and Rebecca Gibb turned heads as passers-by witnessed the window display come to life.

The girls posed among the fallen autumn leaves, showcasing some of the new brands now available in the Edinburgh store.

The display was organised to help launch the new fashion and accessories departments which have been refurbished in just over six weeks.
