IRN-BRU chiefs are hoping their latest ‘tongue-in-cheek’ ad set on a Glasgow train will be an online hit with fans.
The new ad has been launched on social media sites today (Thursday), 24 hours before its television premiere.
Previous adverts in the ‘Gets You Through’ series include Steamy Windows, Blind Date and Fanny have generated 10 million online views.
The new offering entitled ‘Train’ tells the story of an embarrassing moment on board a busy city train.
But luckily, for one lad, IRN-BRU is on hand to get him through.
Head of Marketing for the soft drink Adrian Troy, said: “Our ‘Gets You Through’ campaign reflects the uplifting qualities of IRN-BRU and ‘Train’ shows that despite life’s ups and downs, we can always retain a sense of humour and get back on track!”
The soft drink produced by A.G Barr is made from a secret recipe mix of 32 flavours and is sometimes referred to as Scotland’s ‘other’ national drink.
