Hoxha felon: women swoon over police pic of Albanian on the run from detention centre

HUNDREDS of women have been left hot under the collar after police release image of a “gorgeous” asylum seeker who escaped from a detention centre.

Scotland’s “hot felon”, Guxim Imerio, escaped from Dungavel Immigration Centre in Lanarkshire on Monday after clinging onto the underside of a van that was leaving the facility.

Police issued a public appeal by sharing a smouldering headshot of the 25-year-old Albanian in a bid to trace him.

Scotland’s “most wanted”

But the Police Scotland social media appeal was immediately inundated with hilarious messages from women who are hoping to get their hands on Imerio first.

Laura Campbell wrote: “He’s a stunningly handsome man. Some wee wifey will come across him in her field and he’ll be found living under her skirt many, many years from now.”

Lisa McEwan said: “Shame, he would be a right swipe on Tinder.”

Laura Sharkey wrote: “He may be in the Manchester area. I think it’s fantastic that the 500 women that have turned up to look for him have taken this matter so seriously.”

Ashley Clarke said: “I’d give him a bed for the night.”

Shelley Mcknight wrote: “Offft what a stunning chap. Come to mama bear, I will heat u up.”
But some males accused the adoration as being sexist and claimed women were using double standards.

Scott Meek said: “Can’t believe the sexism in these comments. Feminists would be out in their numbers if this was an attractive female suspect and the comments were similar. #doublestandards #2017.

Guxim, who is not considered to be a threat to the public, absconded on Monday at 9.40pm.

Police Scotland released a statement yesterday, saying: “Officers from Police
Scotland at East Kilbride are seeking the assistance of the public in tracing the whereabouts of Guxim Imerio.

“Imerio is described as 5ft 6, average build with short black hair and brown eyes.

“He has a clear complexion with an oval face and sharp features, and is possibly unshaven. He is not fluent in English.

“When last seen he was wearing a light grey hooded top with a green Liverpool FC top underneath and grey jogging bottoms.

He is not known to have family in the UK but may have some links in the Manchester area and as “such could be making efforts to return to this location.

Inspector Higgins of East Kilbride Police Office added: “Guxim has no knowledge of the local area and Police Scotland wish to ensure that he is safe and well.

“I would encourage any member of the public to contact police immediately if they have any information on the whereabouts of Guxim Imerio or have any information which could assist Police Scotland in tracing him.

“If you live in the vicinity of Dungavel you may have seen someone of similar description in the local area walking, seeking shelter or hitchhiking?”

“Anyone with information should contact officers at East Kilbride via telephone number 101 quoting incident number 4035 of 6 November 2017.”

Imerio follows in the footsteps of ex-con Jeremy Meeks who was branded the “world’s hottest felon” after his mugshot went viral in 2014.

The 33-year-old was nicknamed The Blue Eyed Bandit and Jail Bae after being charged with gun possession and resisting arrest in June, 2014.

His mum Katherine Angier capitalised on his fame by setting up a GoFundMe page to raise enough money to pay for his £780,000 bail.

The dad-of-three had previously served a nine-year sentence for grand theft from 2002.
