Scots gardener takes friend’s request to “take out bin” literally by taking it on a date to the park

A SCOTS gardener who was asked by a friend to take his bin out while he was on a trip took the request literally by taking it out on a date to the park.

Kris Nesbitt decided to take Michael Fleming’s request to the extreme and wheeled the bin, which was full of rubbish, along to a local park in Blairgowrie, Perth and Kinross, on Wednesday.

A series of hilarious images show 29-year-old Kris enjoying his day out with the 4ft plastic council bin as they went down the slide, the swings and relaxed on a park bench.

In one photograph, Kris is captured sitting on a bench, enjoying a cup of tea, with his arm wrapped around the bin.

Another shows the landscape gardener frolicking on the swings while looking over at the bin which remains motionless beside its own swing.

Other images show Kris beaming with joy as he takes the wheelie bin down the slide, between his legs.

Kris sent the photographs onto gas engineer Michael to let him know he had carried out tje task as asked.

Michael, 30, posted the images on Facebook later that day, writing: “Tears asked Nessie to take my bin out because I’m in Glasgow and boy did he deliver.”

His post has received over 2,000 likes and more than 2,200 shares across social media.

Scots left comments after being left in stitches by Kris’s efforts.

Shelley Downie said: “Too funny.”

Matthew Mollison said: “Outstanding.”

Sadie Nesbitt said: “That’s hilarious but please don’t bring her home she’s minging, you can do better son.”

Nick Salman said: “This is amazing.”

Speaking today, Kris said: “Michael messaged me and asked for me to take his in out as he was away in Glasgow seeing Robbie Williams.

“I just thought to myself I’ll take your bin out alright.

“I took it to the park and showed it a good time, I don’t know why the idea just came into my head.

“I told my workmate to go up to his house and we put the bin in the back of the van and we went up to the park.

“We were in the park for about half an hour but as the bin was full of rubbish it was difficult to fling around.

“We put it back in the van, gave it a wee kiss on the lid and waved it fair well.”

Michael said: “I was in Glasgow with my partner and my bin goes out on Wednesday morning.

“I knew I wouldn’t be back until Wednesday afternoon so my mate lives along the road from me so I asked him to take it out before Wednesday morning.

“He says sound then a couple of hours later he sent me the pics.

‘He picked up the bin and it was still full to the brim then put it in his work van and drove it to the park for a day out.”
