A SCOTS local business has announced the appointment of a chartered surveyors as the selling agent of their long-established company.
DM Hall will act as the selling agent of long-established Isle of Mull Silver & Goldsmiths, which trades from Tobermory, Mull.
Proprietors, Philip Campbell and his wife Shiona, said: “We have traded successfully for over 25 years, but, with retirement now approaching, I think, with some reluctance that it is time to pass on what we have achieved to a new generation.”
The business, which specialises in Scottish jewellery, and a variety of fine items incorporating local materials including Iona marble and Ross of Mull granite, sells principally to visitors to Tobermory, though the local market is also firm.
Margaret Mitchell of DM Hall who is overseeing the marketing process, said: “the picturesque harbour town of Tobermory is renowned for its colourful painted buildings and the property enjoys magnificent and uninterrupted sea views.
“Mull has a local resident population of approximately 3,000 but this is heavily supplemented by a high influx of tourist visitors all year round but especially during the summer months.
